| This seasons league will run from the 10th April until the 2nd October, with finals day being Sunday 26th October. |
| All forms are to be returned to the Railway Inn on registration night which will be Wednesday 19th March, between 7 & 8.30pm. |
| The time rule will still not be used during competitive matches throughout the domestic season, but may again be introduced at |
| the finals day, obviously with time and schedules pending. |
| As last season, all league matches will be played on a Thursday evening starting at 8pm sharp, and consisting of 2 sets of singles, |
| played in a format of 6 frames followed by an additional 4 frames. Result sheets must then be received at the Railway Inn post |
| box by 7pm on the Sunday following the match. Cup matches will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. |
| You may register an unlimited number of players at £2 per player, new players can sign and old players transfer only after league |
| week 6, and then only to a team in the same division or above. This year we are introducing a transfer window of just 4 weeks, |
| this will be from week 7 through to, and including, week 10, with players eligible to play 7 days after the forms, and £2 fee are |
| received at the Railway Inn, any shortfall on the fee, or incomplete forms will result in a non-registration or transfer rejection. |
| STRICTLY NO TRANSFERS OR SIGNINGS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER WEEK 10 OF THE SEASON. |
| The team registration remains at £25 (which includes cup entry), and all other fees also remain the same as last season. If a team |
| moves venue, then they will be required to pay an additional bond, as the bond belongs to the venue which had paid it originally. |
| Another new rule for this season relates to score cards. Any team found using incorrect score cards for matches, ie, not the score |
| cards issued to you and your venue by our league at the start of the season, then they will be fined £2 for each match used. |
| There will also be 2 re-arranged fixture nights this season, the 3rd July and the 11th September, so please make sure you make |
| use of these dates for any cancelled matches (matches must be cancelled at least 7 days prior to fixture, and both your opponents |
| and a league committee member MUST be informed, captains do not have to agree to cancellations made less than 7 days |
| prior to a match, but may still do so if they feel that the reason submitted by the cancelling team is a justifiable one. |
| Finally, there will be a Captains meetingheld on Thursday 10th July this year, and any team not sending at least one |
| representative will befined £10by the league. |
| Cheques will be accepted by the committee on registration evening, made payable to "Leamington & District Pool League", |
| however if any cheques fail to clear our account, then the venue will be fined an administration fee of £50, and all league |
| activity will be suspended for that team and its players until payment is made and cleared in full - again there are no exceptions. |
| We wish everyone the best of luck for the new season, and look forward to seeing and speaking to you all soon. |
